This Saturday August 29th at high noon there will be an Urban Hen Brunch.
We are having this egg themed brunch catered by Donovan Cavers of Conscientious Catering, and it will be held, at my house in Westsyde. My address is 859 Pine Springs Road. It is easily accessible by bus (route 3 Westsyde, get off right in front of Coopers, Pine Springs is across the Westsyde Road from the bus stop) or google maps can give those who aren’t sure, an idea of where it is.
The cost will be $5/ person (children, low-income persons, students, seniors free)
I wanted to do this to have a chance for people to get together and enjoy good food, and also to discuss the Urban Hen Movement and where we want to go from here. Last, and probably most, I want to show off my 2 urban hens and their lovely coop, even though they are shy, and scared of a lot of people around their coop at once (we will have to look at them one by one…haha).
